Psalm 84:11 - "For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly." What an incentive this is to just live and love a holy life. We like to blame God sometimes for the way things go in our lives, but imagine how much has been withheld because we weren't walking uprightly. This just proves that God is waiting  for us to do right so He can bless us. - Steve Boots

Matthew 7:11 - "If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in Heaven give good things to them that ask Him?" Just as we had great excitement giving our children their gifts, think of the God of all creation choosing us individually to bless each day. Psalm 112:1-2  - "Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.  His seed shall be mighty upon earth:  the generation of the upright shall be blessed."  It is a wonderful promise from God that He will not only bless us, but also our children as we follow His Word. - John Mark Brothers
