Sometimes we get discouraged because we don't see results from our efforts. Our job is to obey the commands in the Bible and leave the results to God. We can always do more for God. Don't quit. Joshua 22:20 - "Did not Achan the son of Zerah commit a trespass in the accursed thing, and wrath fell on all the congregation of Israel? and that man perished not alone in his iniquity." If we have sin in our lives that we are holding on to, our family and even our church can suffer for it. Achan's sin cost him his life, his family, and "all that he had." In chapters 7 and 8, we see that once that sin was removed the nation of Israel was able to defeat the enemy. After we put away that sin, then we will prosper. - Garrett Longest
