Isaiah 64:4 - "For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him." Waiting for God's timing is not easy because it makes us uncomfortable. However, the faith we gain in that waiting is the prize that makes us forget the discomfort. Isaiah 40:31a - "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles..." I read a statement recently that put a new light on this verse. When a momma eagle wants her baby to fly, she gets him to step off a high cliff. God has given that eaglet the body structure, muscles, feathers, and everything he needs in order to fly. He just needs to take that step of faith. So "don't be a chicken, be an eagle." - Garrett Longest

2 Peter 1:1 - “Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:” We've all heard of Muller, Taylor, Paul and others who we would say had so much faith. To be honest though, we have the same like precious faith. We need to realize God can do the same miracles through us, if we just use that faith. - Josh Gross

Jeremiah 33:2-3 - "Thus saith the Lord the maker thereof, the Lord that formed it, to establish it; the Lord is his name; Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not."

We are familiar with verse 3 but verse 2 is so important. It shows and explains who God really is, and the power He holds to answer our prayers.  I truly believe we as Christians do not pray enough, nor do we fully realize the power that is untapped by us through prayer. Remember, we have access to the one who owns it all. Don't make prayer the last option, make it your first.  - Joshua Gross
