Psalm 37:4 - "Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart." I think we mistake this to mean that God will give us what we want. I think it means that if we delight to do His will and His work then He will change our desires. That is something we should look forward to, not something that we should be afraid of. Our focus should be on delighting in Him each moment of the day. - Steve Boots
